This is not a corporate buy-out show: the evening culture is community-driven — late-night sessions, tournaments, OFF events run by clubs and shops around town. Publishers do however organise trade dinners and team nights. The buzz spreads across the Palais esplanade, the Old Port, Le Suquet and the city's board-game bars.
A publisher hosting its authors, distributors or team over the three days of the show wants a table for 20 to 40 people, not a palace. Loka is eight minutes from the Palais, open at lunch and dinner, and the “whole casa” format for 70 covers the closing team night. Pressure falls on budget and mid-range hotels rather than palaces, and spreads as far as Mandelieu, Le Cannet and Antibes. Book 2–4 months ahead.
20 – 40 lokos
Signature cocktails, circulating latina finger food, DJ set. Two to three hours, standing format, ideal between the show closing and the official party.
10 – 25 lokos
Private table, three-course South American menu, mezcal tasting running through the evening. Served in ninety minutes if you have somewhere else to be.
40 – 70 lokos
The whole casa: bar, dining room and terrace. DJ set until 12:30 AM, optional cocktail workshop, your branding on site.
